Video: Journey to Easter - Second Sunday of Lent - 2026

Welcome to the Second Week of Lent on our Journey to Easter.

In this reflection, Fr. Carl connects the Call of Abram, St. Paul’s encouragement to persevere in hardship, and the Transfiguration of Jesus (cf. CCC 554-556) to our own healing journey as adult children of divorce and separation.

Like Abram, we are called to leave what is familiar and step into a journey we did not fully anticipate. Healing is not always easy, but God is faithful to His promises. He calls us to a holy life and walks with us through every hardship.

As we continue this Lenten journey, may we hold fast to hope, trusting that God is faithful, and that He will bring His promises to fulfillment in our lives.

Reflection Questions for Small Groups or Individuals:

  1. How did God call you to begin your healing journey?

  2. What are some of the hardships you have faced on your journey?

  3. How has God met or exceeded you expectation of healing on your journey? What still remains to be healed?
