Video: Journey to Easter 2026 - Easter Sunday

In this final reflection of our Journey to Easter 2026, Fr. Carl Schlichte proclaims the joy of Easter Sunday and the promise that our wounds, united to Christ, can become life-giving.

For many adult children of divorce or separation, healing can feel long and uncertain. Our wounds may seem like burdens we carry alone. Yet the Resurrection reveals that God works through our wounds, transforming what was once life-draining into a source of grace and new life.

Drawing from St. Peter and St. Mary Magdalene, Fr. Carl reminds us that healing is real and ongoing. Their stories show that no wound is beyond Christ’s power to redeem and that each of us is invited into a mission shaped by our healing.

In this reflection, Fr. Carl invites us to:

  • Trust in the power of the Resurrection to bring new life

  • See our wounds as places where God’s grace is at work

  • Embrace the mission that can flow from our healing

As we celebrate Easter, may we go forth renewed in hope, confident that Christ is alive and at work within us. Thank you for joining us on this Lenten journey.

Reflection Questions for Small Groups or Individuals:

1. Where have you received the most healing, the most grace so far in your healing journey?
2. How have you shared your healing with others?
3. What mission might Jesus be giving you through previously healed and currently healing wounds?
